Wordsworth the Winner!
Wordsworth Dances the Waltz, by Frances Kakugawa, received two awards from the Northern California Publishers & Authors (NCPA) group: Bronze Award for Best Book Overall and Best Illustrated Children's Book. NCPA awards were announced on April 25, 2008, in Sacramento, Calif. Wordsworth Dances the Waltz uses the character of Wordsworth, the Hawaiian mouse who loves poetry, to introduce children to the concept that as grandparents age, they may become different, and even forget important things.
